Story character stops by
Reception children at Abbey Meads Primary School had a surprise visitor daily classes for the under 5’s
on 26 September when The Gruffalo emerged from their story books.
He was invited to Swindon after author Julia Donaldson’s popular character 01793 822262
was declared a favourite by the children when teachers made home visits www.esprit-gymnastics.co.uk
earlier in the year. Although taken aback, even the wariest child soon became
great friends with The Gruffalo who recognised masks of different characters
in the story made by the children.
