project in plea for
outdated computers
SWINDON Scrapstore, the environmental
charity that diverts donated office
equipment and furniture, manufacturing
offcuts, surplus and decorative items
from landfill for re-use within the
community, is expanding by launching
Project Reboot.
The idea is giving long-term
unemployed people skills training to
refurbish end-of-life computers, laptops,
working monitors and peripherals to
sell on at the lowest possible cost to
community groups, low income families

from being part of the project, the
trainees will be in a better position to
secure paid employment.
Reboot will collect equipment and

sanitisation methods, free of charge, and
will provide certificated results.
