Ofsted rates Taw Hill out-of-school club as outstanding
Funrise before-school, after-school and holiday club, situated within St Francis
Church of England Primary School in Taw Hill was graded ‘Outstanding’ by OFSTED
inspectors following a visit on 25 July.
Sarah Barbato, Funrise’s owner, and Lorraine Ford, the club’s manager, are delighted
as they have worked really hard since the last inspection to develop and enhance the
care, practices and paperwork.
Sarah said: “Lorraine accepted a promotion to become club manager in September
2015 and she has put one hundred per cent into her new role. She’s an amazing
asset to Funrise.
“Outstanding is such a hard grade to obtain. All the team have worked hard to
make sure our standard of care is high and their efforts have paid off.”
