Haydon Artists' Society will be presenting an exhibition of their work at St Peter's Church in Marlborough from 22 July to 28 July.

Haydon Artists' Society is a Swindon based art group who meets once a week to share interest in art by providing a quiet and friendly environment. They meet in the Swindon Manor Indoor Bowls Club on Thursdays from 7pm to 9pm.

Each member of the group no matter what age or skill brings their art knowledge and experience to create a unique and individual work.

Once a month the members of the group can make a choice of taking part in a theme evening.

Some of the recent ones we held were New Beginnings, Farm Animals, Water or Henri Matisse.

Other inspirations come from painters, photographers or even life models who visit the group to introduce new ideas and put the artists' skills to the test.

A spokesman for the group said: "By exchanging and bringing lots of art information into our meetings some amazing and inspirational work is produced and this July we would like the public to take a look at our fantastic creations."
