A prestigious yacht and sailing club based at Cotswold Water Park are challenging people from Swindon to 'Have A Go' at sailing in April and May.
Bowmooor Sailing Club is just a 25 minute drive from Swindon situated between Lechlade and Fairford.
The club operates on a fantastic 85 acre lake and also boasts a well-appointed club house. It’s not all about highly competitive racing, although that is an option; sailing truly is a family sport and recreation activity that spans all ages and abilities. If you’re the next Ben Ainsley or just want to potter about on the water, Bowmoor has something to offer you.
You don’t need to own a dinghy to start sailing. You can sign up for a RYA accredited course with the club and embark on a whole new adventure. There are different courses the cater for absolute beginners to advanced racing techniques and the details are all on the club website www.bowmoor.co.uk

Bowmoor will be running two Come and Try days, the first of which is on 29 April and the second opportunity on 20 May. When you can get afloat with a highly experienced helm to show you what it is all about.

Visitors who want to sail are advised to bring a change of clothing and a towel just in case they get wet. Bowmoor also cater for Windsurfing, Open Water Swimming, Paddle Boarding, RC Boats and Canoeing.
