Burglars broke into property through patio doors - police appeal for information

Wiltshire police are appealing for information following a burglary at an address on the High Street, Haydon Wick, Swindon.

The incident took place between 12.30pm and 2.30pm on Monday 9 October.

Patio doors at the back of the property were smashed and a large quantity of cash and bank cards was stolen.

PC Michelle Jones said: “This incident has happened in broad daylight and despite being at the back of the property where they were out of view; their actions would have been heard by people in the area of the High Street and Tweed Close.

“If you heard or saw anything suspicious in the area at this time please get in contact with us via 101”.
