The 10 Green Bottles team at Wroughton's Berkeley Farm are planning to host open days this summer to show members of the public how their dairy cows are looked after.
The 10 Green Bottles team say that in light of a recent BBC Panaroma documentary highlighting animal welfare and the way dairy cows are raised and milked, they are going to plan open days during the summer holidays this year.
10 Green Bottles pride themselves upon being a service that delivers the highest quality dairy products and other locally produced groceries direct to customers' doorsteps, twice per week using its solar-charged electric vans.
Most of its products are packaged in glass bottles or jars, that are then returned, washed and reused. Other products, such as butter and bread are packaged in compostable bags.
10 Green Bottles' products are locally produced and manufactured from the Berekley Farm dairy in Wroughton, using milk from local herds.
Chris from 10 Green Bottles said: "Dates for our open days will be confirmed at a later time and we would like to encourage as many of you as possible to come on down to the farm and dairy.
"You'll get to see the cows up close in their fields, the milking parlour, dairy factory, and learn how we produce not just the milk but our signature butters and yoghurts as well.
"We take great pride in how we care and raise our cows and want to show you our full process - from cow, to bottle, to doorstep, The 10 Green Bottles way."
