A Swindon Aldi staff member is marking the 20th anniversary of her joining the team.

Jo-Anne Denning first joined the supermarket as a Selector at Aldi’s Regional Distribution Centre (RDC) in 2003.

Assuming several roles since then at the Swindon RDC, she now works as a Logistics Assistant.

From taking part in charity events for Aldi’s dedicated charity Teenage Cancer Trust, including raising £8,800 for a skydive, to supporting fellow colleagues, Jo-Anne is described by the company as an integral part of Aldi’s Swindon RDC Team, and has seen the company grow to become one of the largest in its sector.

She said: "Aldi has changed so much over the years, and I’ve been lucky enough to be a part of it. Working in different roles and being part of various teams, it has been great to see the supermarket evolve and become what it is today.”

When asked what the one Aldi product she couldn’t live without was, Jo-Anne said: “The frozen Specially Selected pies are a must buy for me. The chicken and ham hock one in particular is delicious!”

John Richardson, Regional Managing Director at Aldi UK, said: “We’re incredibly grateful to all of our colleagues and take great pride in celebrating their achievements.

“Colleagues like Jo-Anne have played a key part in our growth and success, and I would like to thank her for her contributions.

“Our colleagues allow us to connect with wider communities and continue to provide the high-quality service that customers keep coming back for.”
