The team behind the British Business Excellence Awards are proud to announce that entries are now open for the second year running.

The British Business Excellence Awards are said to celebrate the very best of British business.

The prestigious awards aim to showcase the most notable businesses in the country, celebrating the creativity, innovation and resilience within a variety of industries.

After a turbulent couple of years for businesses, the awards aim to help unite the business community across the UK and celebrate thriving businesses that deserve recognition and praise.

The awards host a total of sixteen award categories, with five brand new categories for 2022; The Lloyds Bank Sustainable Business of the Year, Diversity Champion of the Year, ESG Champion of the Year, Business Transformation of the Year and Leader of the Year.

A spokesperson for the awards said: "Lloyds Bank are the headline partner for the second year running, helping to recognise the fact that British businesses don’t stand still and to further recognise all of the efforts British businesses have put in across the last year."

Virgin Atlantic and Delta Air Lines say they are proud to once again be sponsoring the Business Enabler category, which was won by Dent Global in 2021 for the outstanding service they provide for their customer base.

This year Business in the Community (BITC) has become the Responsible Business Partner for the awards. BITC is the largest and longest-established business-led membership organisation dedicated to responsible business. Established in 1982, with HRH The Prince of Wales as the Royal Founding Patron, BITC works with businesses to continually improve their responsible business practice, leveraging the collective impact for the benefit of communities.

The British Business Excellence Awards are the elite business awards programme for businesses of all shapes and sizes. The awards host a year-long programme of networking events, round tables and exemplar judging processes, all of which will then culminate in a spectacular awards ceremony on Tuesday, 8 November at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.

Sarah Austin, Awards Director of the British Business Excellence Awards said: “I’m so proud to announce that, once again, the awards are being greatly supported by our selection of event partners and, of course, our Headline Partner Lloyds Bank who share our excitement in highlighting the best of British business again this year.

"If you're part of a British business that you're proud of and feel is taking strides, take a look and see whether you feel as if you, your team or your business as a whole would be eligible for any of the award categories. Each entry will be looked at by our panel of expert judges, who aim to shine a light on the best businesses in each chosen field. If you would like to nominate your business or teammates, start working on your entry applications now as the initial deadline for entries is 13 June 2022."
