Swindon's Bus Company has been named a finalist in two prestigious industry awards.
The shortlistings recognise the team's operational performance, customer service and commitment to the local community.
The Barnfield Road depot has been shortlisted for Top National Depot at the UK Bus Awards and Depot of the Year at the Go-Ahead Group Gold Awards.
The double recognition follows a year of significant achievements for the Swindon team, including improvements in punctuality, safety, customer satisfaction, passenger growth and operational performance.
Richard Tyldsley, General Manager of Swindon's Bus Company, said: "To be recognised by both the UK Bus Awards and the Go-Ahead Gold Awards is a tremendous achievement for everyone at our depot.
"These nominations reflect the hard work, dedication and professionalism of our entire team.
"Every colleague, whether they are driving buses, maintaining vehicles, supporting passengers or working behind the scenes, has played a part in delivering these results.
"We have seen significant improvements across the business over the past year, but what makes me most proud is the positive culture that exists across the depot and the commitment our colleagues show to serving the people of Swindon every day."
Over the past 12 months, Swindon's Bus Company has carried more than 8m passenger journeys, with passenger numbers increasing by seven percent year-on-year as more people choose to travel by bus across the town.
The depot has successfully delivered a number of major projects, including the return of services to Fleming Way's new Bus Boulevard following the completion of the town centre regeneration project and the introduction of Route 9 to maintain vital transport links for Wroughton following the withdrawal of another operator.
Behind the scenes, the team has continued to deliver high standards of operational and engineering performance, supporting a fleet of 107 vehicles and helping ensure customers can rely on safe, dependable and well-maintained services every day.
Alongside its transport services, Swindon's Bus Company continues to play an active role in the local community through charitable initiatives, accessibility projects and partnerships with organisations across the town.
Recent work has included hosting travel confidence sessions for people with learning disabilities in partnership with Swindon Borough Council and supporting local causes through the company's Community Fund.
The depot's success has also been driven by a strong focus on colleagues. Employing around 220 people, Swindon's Bus Company continues to invest in wellbeing, career development and improved facilities for drivers, while creating opportunities for colleagues to progress within the business.
The UK Bus Awards are among the most prestigious accolades in the UK bus industry, recognising excellence across the sector.
The Go-Ahead Gold Awards celebrate outstanding achievements by colleagues, teams and depots across the Go-Ahead Group.
