Grandparents are not just for Christmas

The festive season is over and now we need to think about and deal with the present(s) in all their forms.

For some all there is, is the long dull days of January and February, with no one to chat to, or to have a cup of tea or coffee with and no grandchildren to make that familiar homely noise.

Some of you who visited elderly loved ones during this time may have noticed a deterioration in both living standards and perhaps memory or health and are concerned about how to address this.

They don’t need care but would benefit from a regular visit, some practical help or just some company.

A call to Helping Old Friends could be the answer. Both Katrina and Lauren have many years of experience in setting up plans that can provide both practical help and companionship to those in need.

No matter where you are on the spectrum of requiring that help, we can advise you and provide you or your loved one with a bespoke plan that will meet your needs.

For further information please do give Katrina in Swindon a call on 01793 550895 or Lauren in Cirencester on 01285 701801 for a friendly chat and advice.

We are also looking for younger mothers of school aged children who perhaps have a few spare hours during the day and would like to earn an additional income.

Very flexible routines are available to suit. Please give us a call.
