Swindon-based telematics company CMS SupaTrak have achieved ISO27001, the information security management standard, and have been reaccredited with quality management standard ISO9001, and also environmental standard ISO14001.
These ISO awards are internationally-recognised and require businesses to demonstrate that they work to robust standards and procedures. CMS SupaTrak achieved all three without any non-conformances plus they gained ISO27001 at the first attempt, something that only half of businesses usually manage to do.
Jason Airey, MD of CMS SupaTrak said: “I am absolutely delighted. Not only have we been reaccredited with two very important quality and environmental standards, but we have now also achieved ISO27001. This new accreditation will show our customers that CMS SupaTrak is a company that is both equipped and committed to protecting their valuable and sensitive information. In an online age, keeping data safe has never been more important.
Being awarded these ISO standards is a huge accomplishment for us and I’d like to thank our staff who have worked so hard to achieve this. Our assessments took place during this COVID-19 pandemic so preparing for and carrying out the assessments while having to work from home demonstrates that we have the ability to be flexible and to adapt to unexpected changes.”
CMS SupaTrak is one of only a few telematics companies to hold ISO27001, let alone all three ISO accreditations.
Next, CMS will undergo the occupational health and safety management standard ISO45001, as well as attempt to upgrade their Silver Investors in People award to Gold, or even Platinum.
For 28 years, CMS SupaTrak has been providing solutions to fleet management organisations and driving up standards in the industry, ensuring drivers and vehicles are compliant, economical and environmentally optimised. CMS consistently strives to set a responsible example and make a difference in the transport sector. The company’s vital engagement in the Optimised Waste and Logistics (OWL) Partnership, and Westminster Commission for Road Air Quality (WCRAQ) reaffirms that the CMS SupaTrak team is passionate about changing the future for the better.
