Swindon residents are said to be making the most of the arrival of new gigabit broadband provider, Fibrehop.
Fibrehop is a new independent service provider bringing world-class internet connectivity to residents for just £36 per month.
Fibrehop is now live in Stratton, Gorse Hill, Pinehurst, Kingsdown, Moredon, Walcot and surrounding areas, with further areas going live soon in line with CityFibre’s network roll-out.
Dan Coombes, the first resident in Swindon to be connected to Fibrehop, said: “With Fibrehop, we’ve got awesome Gigabit internet and awesome infrastructure - completely different from what we had previously. I chose Fibrehop for customer service, ease of ordering and symmetrical upload and download speeds. We went from 3Mbps to 1Gbps – you can’t complain really!”
Fibrehop uses CityFibre’s new state-of-the-art full-fibre network to deliver a lightning-fast connection to homes. The company says unlike ‘superfast’ part-fibre, part-copper broadband, Fibrehop provides only 100% pure fibre. This means ultra-fast, ultra-reliable broadband - that’ll stand up to even the most data-hungry households.
Fibrehop says it focuses on providing an uncomplicated broadband service and unparalleled customer service, Paul Anslow, Fibrehop founder and CEO, explained: “Fibrehop was created as an alternative to the big broadband providers. We have one product, one price and one speed - everything the user needs, with nothing they don’t.
“Our aim is to help communities become better connected. We want to provide the best possible broadband service to our customers.
"We can only achieve this by listening directly to their needs and getting feedback on their user experience. Which is exactly what we’re doing in Swindon!”
Residents across the town can register their interest in Fibrehop online to receive an alert when services are ready to go live in their area.
Members of the public can check their postcode, register and sign up for Fibrehop at fibrehop.com/swinlink
