Royal Wootton Bassett firm Halo Staffing are supporting Leonard Cheshire through eLearning course Learning Disability Awareness.

The two organisations hope to spread awareness of learning disabilities and empower people with disabilities to live learn and work independently.

Halo Staffing are specialists in providing staffing solutions within Health and Social Care across England and Wales and have ambitious plans to become the first choice health and social care service for staffing solutions.

In this three-year collaboration, Halo Staffing will provide much needed funds by donating 10% of revenue from all sales of this course.

Managing director Scott Shill said: “Having supported people of all abilities for over 25 years I have seen what a difference you can make by empowering people.

"People of all abilities should be empowered to make their own life choices; living, working and learning how they wish. Although this has improved, there is still much to learn for many people.”

Leonard Cheshire Fundraising Development Executive Jack Cuthbertson said: “We’re thrilled to be working with Halo Staffing to raise funds that support our work. Leonard Cheshire relies on the generosity of organisations such as Halo Staffing, and their support will help make a real and lasting difference to the lives of disabled people.

"It’s also great to be working with an organisation that shares Leonard Cheshire’s vision for a more inclusive world, one where disabled people are supported to live as independently as they choose, whatever their ability, and we’re looking forward to seeing where the partnership develops.”
