Children could be in with a chance of winning £50 to spend in Hamleys, when visiting the store to celebrate its birthday.
Hamleys has dug out the balloons and bunting to celebrate a major birthday this week, and they’re inviting customers to the ultimate birthday party event.
To make its celebrations even more special, a staff member explains: "For our party guests, we’re giving five very lucky children the chance to win a Golden Party Hat, and a goody bag worth £50 to fill in-store at Hamleys Swindon!
"With party games galore from our famous entertainment team, presents to be won, balloons and birthday cake, this weekend extravaganza is not to be missed!"
From Saturday 27 August, and all Bank Holiday Weekend, individuals will be able to come and join in the celebrations as the toy shop goes 'birthday crazy' in Hamleys stores across the UK.
The store's spokesperson continued: "Celebrating over 260 years of magic and wonder, Hamleys is proud to celebrate its heritage and continue its tradition of helping families make memories to last a lifetime in their legendary toy shop.
"A British icon, famed for its recognisable ‘red flags’ across the country, Hamleys look forward to celebrating many more birthdays over the coming centuries."
The LEGO® Super Mario™ team, Mario, Luigi and Princess Peaches, have also all been invited to join the world famous Hamley Bear at his celebrations.
Customers will be able to play, build, and test out the new playsets in the store's LEGO® Build area all weekend.
