Residents and staff at White Lodge Care Home in Braydon near Swindon recently celebrated its parent company's 30th anniversary.
Parent company Barchester Healthcare started out in 1992 with one care home, Moreton Hill in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire.
Three decades later, Barchester is the second largest care home company in the UK, with 250 care homes and private hospitals all over the country.
To celebrate, White Lodge threw open its doors for a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party to which everyone was invited! The home was transformed into a wonderland with an afternoon tea and a birthday cake.
The home's own Alice, White Rabbit, Queen of Hearts and Mad Hatter bought many smiles, and there was entertainment from Jessica Fay.
Ramona Gherendi, General Manager at White Lodge Care Home, said: “It is wonderful to be part of such a fantastic company as Barchester.
"We had a fabulous time celebrating our 30th anniversary with all of our residents, their friends and families and our brilliant staff, it was such a lovely day. It was great to have so many people from the local community come and join us to help us celebrate 30 years of Barchester.”
