Local housebuilder Redrow Thames Valley has begun work on 50 additional new homes at a popular Swindon development.
Redrow Thames Valley has officially started work on a brand-new site next to its popular Swindon development, Badbury Park, after acquiring land adjacent to its existing development.
The expansion will see the addition of 50 new homes, including two brand-new showhomes, which are due to open from August.
Lee Reeves, Project Site Manager, Steve Wilkins, Assistant Site Manager, and Paul Emblen, Site Operative at Badbury Park marked the start of work on site with a ground-breaking ceremony to celebrate Redrow Thames Valley’s fourth development in the region.
Sarah Boyce, Sales Director for Redrow Thames Valley, said: "We’re excited that work has begun on the extension of our already popular development at Badbury Park.
“After receiving such a positive reception to our homes from Swindon house hunters, we wanted to continue to cater for the significant demand for high-quality family homes in this sought-after location, which is just a stone’s throw away from Swindon town centre.
“With interest already high, and two new showhomes on the way, we’re encouraging interested parties to register their interest to ensure they are the first to hear when properties are released for sale.”
Situated on the edge of Coate Water Country Park, yet within easy reach of both the M4 and Swindon town centre, Badbury Park is said to be perfect for first-time buyers and growing families alike. With its own primary school, and five-minute distance from a secondary school, Redrow believes the development to be the perfect place to set up home.
