This month, Redrow Thames Valley -which is currently building at Badbury Park on Homington Avenue - is welcoming local homebuyers to a free energy-efficient event.
The event will take place on Sunday 16 April.
Homebuyers in attendance will be able to learn more about the Redrow difference and hear from a team of experts - including Redrow’s independent financial advisors and local estate agents - to discuss selling their own homes and future borrowing needs.
The event comes after new research from Redrow reveals three quarters (74%) of UK adults say living in an energy efficient home is more important to them now compared to a year ago.
The research found nearly a third (29%) of adults believe they are unable to make their current home more energy efficient as their house is too old. This may be why, nearly half (49%) would consider moving to a new build home due to the energy-efficient features already installed.
To ensure homebuyers are BBQ ready this summer, Redrow Thames Valley is currently adding the finishing touches to the development’s Readymade, energy-efficient homes. Fitted with high-spec interiors, these eco-friendly homes are available to move into this summer.
James Holmear, Director at Redrow, said: “We are excited to welcome prospective homebuyers into our developments this Easter to showcase how Redrow can help secure your dream home. Our team of new home experts are on hand to assist with an easy move into a premium, energy efficient home without the stress.
"Our research shows people are more eco conscious than ever before and are looking at ways to be even more energy efficient, especially in relation to their homes. Our homes are designed to help people save money on household bills, with the average Redrow home being B-rated, saving homeowners an average of £3,100 a year on energy bills.”
