Taylor Wimpey to begin work on new Swindon housing development

Taylor Wimpey will soon begin work on a development of 127 homes in Swindon after exchanging on an area of land at Lady Lane, Swindon.

Taylor Wimpey say Robin Gardens will comprise a mix of two, three and four- bedroom homes, suitable for a wide range of buyers.

Green space will aim to be interspersed around the development, and just outside the site to the south is a park including play areas and public open spaces. 

Taylor Wimpey say the development will also benefit from a range of measures designed to enhance the ecology of the site, such as hedgehog highways, bat boxes, bird boxes, insect houses and bee bricks.  

Planning permission was granted in June 2022 and following the exchange of contracts last month - August 2022 - work is due to start on site soon.

Robin Gardens follows the success of Taylor Wimpey’s Ambrose Gardens in Croft Road near Old Town, which both launched and sold out remotely during the covid-19 pandemic.
