Global Recognition for SW Marketing Expert

South West Marketing Expert Maggie Robinson is ending 2020 listed amongst global entrepreneurs, influential leaders and inspirational business owners.

Maggie set up Smart Thinking Consultancy 8 years ago to provide a personal, bespoke marketing service to businesses, following her years of experience with large corporates.  

This year, she’s been handpicked for the Brainz 500 Global List alongside famous figures including Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris, entrepreneur Elon Musk and YouTube Brain Trainer Jim Kwik. 

While it has been a tough year for many businesses, Maggie has been helping businesses get through the effects of the pandemic and prepare for the future. She said: “I love what I do because good marketing support can make a huge difference to businesses. This year has demonstrated more than ever the importance of keeping your business in your customers’ minds while making sure the money that leaves your business is spent wisely.  

“As I specialise in working with SMEs, I’ve witnessed the struggles many businesses have been dealing with but carrying out a marketing analysis and making changes to help them reach their full potential can have a real impact.” 

Over the course of 2020, as well as offering her usual consultancy work, Maggie has been working pro bono for the Team Anna Victorious fundraising challenge and offering free advice and support to businesses affected by coronavirus. 

Maggie said: “Running my own business gives me the freedom to spend time on projects I’m passionate about, such as the Team Anna Victorious challenge and supporting other SMEs. To be recognised for this is amazing and ends an unusual year in a really positive way!” 

Earlier this year, Maggie was also named the Best Full-Service SME Marketing Support Provider 2020 in the SME News UK Enterprise Awards.
