Julita Stefaniak, Founder of J Solutions Services LTD, has been shortlisted in the UK Small Business Awards in the Female Entrepreneur of the Year category.
Julita Stefaniak, Director of J Solutions Services LTD, Nutriskin Wholesale LTD and Splash Creative Studio LTD, said: “I’m a 25-year-old entrepreneur with a deep-rooted passion for the tanning and beauty industry. My journey began over seven years ago when I first stepped into the world of sunbeds. For the past five years, I dedicated myself to helping open and grow successful tanning salons across the UK and Northern Ireland - working hands-on with business owners to build thriving ventures from the ground up.
“In April 2024, with nothing but determination (and a bank account in the minus!), I took the leap and left my employment to start my own business. I knew the industry inside out, and I knew there was room for change - so I created the first face-to-face theory and practical training programme of its kind in the UK tanning sector.
“This innovation didn't go unnoticed - it was recognised by Business Insider for its impact and forward-thinking approach. Thanks to years of experience, industry knowledge, and strong relationships, I built momentum quickly.
“Within just two months of launching my company, I began independently supplying sunbeds - and by the end of my first year, I had generated just under half a million pounds in turnover.
Julita has since co-founded two more companies, one focused on skincare wholesale and the other on marketing solutions for beauty salons.
Her main company has now found its permanent home in Swindon, where they operate from a 1,250 sq ft warehouse. This summer, they will expand further - taking over a second 1,250 sq ft unit that will soon be transformed into Aloha Tanning Lounge, a tropical-inspired tanning and wellness centre set to open in July/August 2025.
Julita said: “We're bringing Hawaiian vibes and a fresh energy to the town, with a focus on both safe tanning and self-care. This is just the beginning - and I'm only getting started.”
