Team members celebrate first anniversary with Swindon-based mortgage brokers

Two team members of Swindon-based independent mortgage brokers TED Mortgages, are celebrating their successful first 12 months with the company.

James Harris, who is based in Chippenham and Daniella Black, based in Purton (pictured above), who previously worked for an estate agency broker and high street lender respectively, have completed a successful 12 months with TED Mortgages.

They are both now looking ahead to their hopes for the industry for the coming year.  

The TED team say not only have the pair been able to access more lenders and better deals for their clients, they have also been receiving really positive feedback for their work.

Director of TED Mortgages, Chris Blackwell, said: “Daniella and James have been brilliant since coming on board. They are both 100% customer focused which is what we are all about and this is reflected in the customer feedback they get. They have both adapted really well to working with us and have helped us take on more clients whilst continuing to provide the highest level of service. 

“They have both developed their knowledge and are getting better with each month that goes by. We are looking forward to seeing what they can do in their second year with us.”

Reflecting on his first year, James said: “It has been a very busy and interesting year. I have received so many happy recommendations from my existing clients. It has been a record year for me, in terms of submissions, which is a great feeling.”

Daniella was equally positive. She said: “It has been the best move for me. I have learned so much over the past year and I haven’t looked back. We have a great team. I received my first ever five-star review, which was memorable as it's always nice to hear from the customer about their experience. I would like to say a big thanks to managing director Tom Brennan and Chris Blackwell for making me feel so welcome.”

While both were restricted in what they could offer customers in their previous employment, they are said to be in agreement that having access to a greater variety of lenders and providers at TED Mortgages, combined with their experience, can only benefit their clients, offering more choice and better outcomes. 

For the year ahead, James plans to keep making customers happy.

He added: “Hopefully, 2022 and 2023 bring many more happy mortgage transactions. I also hope to increase my business levels even further, while keeping quality advice at the forefront of my business.”

Danielle also has ambitions to help many more customers and to expand the services she offers. 

She said: “I am going continue to help customers get on the property ladder or buy their dream home. I hope to speak to both new and existing clients, maintaining those existing relationships and creating new ones. I’m really excited to be part of TED Mortgages and to see what the future holds for us.”
