Aldi is offering simple support for families during one of the busiest times of the year.

With the school summer holidays around the corner, Aldi is sharing the quietest times to shop at its stores in Wiltshire to help families avoid busier periods and make their money go further.

According to in-store data, Aldi’s quietest shopping times during the summer holidays are typically before 10am and after 8pm on weekdays, with some quieter periods later on Saturday evenings for weekend shoppers.

Julie Ashfield, Chief Commercial Officer at Aldi UK, said: “We know the school holidays can be a busy and expensive time for families, so we want to make shopping as simple and affordable as possible. By visiting during quieter periods and making use of Aldi’s everyday value, shoppers can save both time and money this summer.”

Aldi has invested more than £200 million in price cuts so far this year, helping customers save across everything from fresh and frozen food to household essentials and personal care products.

Alongside its quiet-time tips, Aldi is reminding families across Wiltshire of simple ways to shop smart over the school holidays.

Shoppers are urged to watch out for the ‘Super 6’ fresh produce deals. Every two weeks, Aldi offers six fruit and veg items at super-low prices. Shoppers can stock up and freeze any suitable items they will not eat straight away. Aldi’s Fresh Guarantee also means customers who are not 100% satisfied with their fruit and veg can return it for a full refund.

Bakery, meat and deli items nearing their best-before dates often receive significant markdowns at Aldi, with discounts of up to 75%. While timings vary by store, shoppers are most likely to find reductions later in the day.

Every week, the supermarkety chain puts a special focus on its fresh meat and fish range, helping shoppers pick up quality ingredients at great value. From midweek dinners to weekend barbecues, families can plan ahead by checking Aldi’s latest offers before heading in store.

Aldi’s Specialbuys bring.deals items to the supermarket’s middle aisles every Thursday and Sunday. Shoppers can plan ahead by checking details of upcoming Specialbuys, released two weeks before they land in store, via Aldi’s in-store leaflet or website.

Each day in July and August, one family can win a £50 Aldi voucher to help with the costs of feeding and entertaining children during the school holidays.
