Vastern Timber has opened a new wood flooring showroom in an oak-framed building at its established timber yard outside Royal Wootton Bassett.
The showroom brings together a wide range of solid and engineered hardwood flooring at different price points, backed by the knowledge of a family business that has been producing and selling timber products for four generations.
Designed to make choosing a floor simpler, the displays allow visitors to compare colours, grain patterns and finishes.
Large samples can be laid side by side, while adjustable lighting shows how the wood’s appearance changes under different light conditions.
Visitors can book an hour-long consultation with the company’s wood experts, with longer appointments available if needed.
The team offers practical advice on the options, helping customers find a floor that suits their home and budget.
Managing Director Tom Barnes said: “Choosing a floor is much easier when you can see the boards properly and talk to someone who understands wood.
"We’ve created a space where visitors can take their time, compare samples and draw on our team’s knowledge to make a confident choice.”
