Cirencester based Motofix Prestige Paint and Body site, has been named ‘Best New Bodyshop of the Year’ for 2024.
Motofix Group’s Prestige Paint and Body facility, located on Elliot Road in the town, has been crowned by key industry organisation, the Association of Bodyshop Professionals (ABP), which has 2,500 members across the UK.
The centre, which delivers manufacturer-quality repairs and exemplary levels of customer service to drivers of prestige vehicles in the southwest region, only opened its doors to motorists in February after a £2.5m investment.
As Motofix Group’s “flagship centre of excellence” in the UK, motorists using the Prestige Paint and Body centre to repair their car benefit from superior processes, the latest equipment and tools, and world-class, brand- and model-specific technician training.
The site has earned approvals from BMW, Mercedes-Benz, VW Group brands and Jaguar Land Rover. Volvo approval is pending.
Motofix Group Chairman, Richard Tutt, said: “Winning the Best New Bodyshop of the Year award is a huge honour for Motofix and testament to the strength of the facility we’ve created in Cirencester and the quality of the service we’re providing to local motorists after they’ve had an accident.
“We’d like to thank all of our customers in and around Cirencester for their continued support and making it possible for us to achieve national recognition like this. Our talented Prestige Paint and Body team are looking forward to serving the community for many more years to come.”
Winning the Best New Bodyshop of the Year award rounds off another successful year for Motofix Group which operates a network of 9 Motofix Accident Repair Centres across Southern England and repairs up to 16,500 vehicles each year.
The Group has won a trio of other awards in 2024, including ‘BSI Kitemark: Bodyshop Group of the Year’ at the prestigious ABP British Bodyshop Awards, ‘Bodyshop Group of the Year’ at the Bodyshop Magazine Awards and the Gold Level Award at the NBRA Greener Bodyshop Awards.
