Buss to face trial accused of selling stolen van

A woman who is accused of stealing a Transit van and then selling it on is to face trial by judge and jury.

Melanie Buss, the sister of former soldier and gym owner Mike Buss, pleaded not guilty to theft and fraud when she apeared at a Swindon Crown Court.

The 32-year-old also denied an allegation that she stole some tools belonging to the same man.

Buss is accused of taking the tools, belonging to Daniel Davies, between Valentine's Day and Sunday March 30 last year

She is then said to have stolen a 07-reg Ford Transit, belonging to Mr Davies on Sunday March 16 and selling it to another man.

Buss, of Abbey Meads, pleaded not guilty to two counts of theft and one of fruad.

Judge Tim Mousley QC adjourned the case to a trial date to be fixed and released her on conditional bail until then.
