Charity Al-Anon is highlighting the increase in alcohol abuse during the covid crisis.

The organisation, which offers support to anyone whose life has been affected by someone else’s drinking, holds meetings in Swindon at 10.15am on Wednesdays and 7.45pm on Thursdays.

Al-Anon says it is estimated that for every person with a problem, five to seven others are affected. They may be partners, parents, siblings or children.

Help is available on line at www.al-anonuk.org.uk, via email at [email protected] and by freephone 0800 0086 811 - or at meetings which are currently being held through Zoom.
