Swindon’s Bus Company has announced a partnership with the town's 1st Walcot Brownies.
The firm says the move is part of its reinforcing its commitment to supporting local community organisations.
The bus operator is donating £150 to the pack, to be put toward setting up a Girl Guiding programme for older Brownies who would like to continue participating.
Brownies welcomes girls from seven to 10 years old for fun, learning and adventure, and members follow a programme of skill-building activities, supported by trained volunteers who give up their time for free.
Heather Drewett of 1st Walcot Brownies said: "When some of our Brownies reach Girl Guiding age, they want to continue attending the group - so we want to set up a programme for our older members.
“We applied to Swindon’s Bus Company through its community fund, and were delighted to receive a donation. We are volunteers, so this extra funding will be very useful for providing equipment - like books, badges, and uniform. We are extremely grateful."
Swindon’s Bus Company general manager Andrew Sherrington said: “This is an incredibly worthy cause, and an important local resource.
"We are always keen to build strong relationships with those living within the areas in which we operate.
"Helping these Brownies and Guides continue to enjoy their programmes - with the opportunity to learn new skills - is an absolute pleasure.”
The Swindon’s Bus Company community fund is open to applicants in December and June. For more information about the company, people can visit swindonbus.co.uk
