An urgent plea for donations has been issued by Swindon Food Collective.
The Swindon charity is desperately seeking donations this Christmas after high demand left shelves empty.
Manager Cher Smith said: "I've been a manager for seven years and in that time I've seen our numbers grow from just about 3,000 to well over 10,000, now heading towards 11,000.
"The situation now is becomming quite dire. We have empty, empty shelves which is unheard of."
At this time of year, Swindon Food Collective is particularly looking for:
- Christmas pudding
- Custard
- Pickles - chutney, onions
- Cranberry sauce
- Meat, gravy granules/stock cubes
- Biscuits
- Sweets
- Meat - ham, Spam, corned beef
- Tinned potatoes
- Squash
