Team Link are inviting people to attend a feast fundraiser for their trek across the Sahara Desert next year, in aid of Prospect Hospice.

As some of you may know, Swindon Link is sending a team to trek across the Sahara Desert in March 2023, in order to raise some funds for Prospect Hospice.

And yours truly is popping along as part of the team.

But to do this we need to raise a good lot of money for the charity and so we are holding a fundraising feast at the wonderful Pick Up Point restaurant in Devizes Road, Old Town.

If you've not been to Pick Up Point, you are really missing a treat as the food there is out of this world with every burger, chicken wing, steak done to such a high quality you'll be thinking about it for days afterwards and wondering if you could marry the chef Josh West.

It's going to be a pretty good event and includes three courses including Korean Wings, the delicious Orange Sunshine burger and a chocolate brownie. The vegan and vegetarian options are pretty awesome too, from halloumi or plant burgers to cauli wings.

Each diner will get a glass of Prosecco or orange juice upon arrival and there will be entertainment from superb guitarist Jim Blair as well as a raffle.

Us Team Linkers, as we're not calling ourselves, will be on hand to act as your waiters and to talk to you all about what we're doing.

The feast takes place on Monday 24 October at 7pm and tickets cost £37.50 including booking fee.
