An open garden fundraiser event will be held by Jude Sullivan in Purton this June, to raise money and support the Great Western Air Ambulance.

On Saturday 3 June, local Purton resident Jude Sullivan will be opening her garden between 10am and 12pm, to raise funds to support the Great Western Air Ambulance, in hope that she smashes her previous year’s total of over £1,000.

The fundraising event, which will be held in Purton, will include a variety of stalls and activities to enjoy, from a cake stall, bric-a-brac, raffle, tombola, pre-loved clothes, to handmade greeting cards and guess the weight of the cake.

In line with the rescue theme of the event, there will also be a ‘Guess Where The Helicopter Will Land’ game, supplied by the Great Western Air Ambulance, to support the fundraising efforts.

Motivated by her own experiences of having the Air Ambulance attend a family emergency, Jude Sullivan says she is committed to continuing to fundraise for the cause, and to beat her 2022 total of £1067.70.

Jude said: “The Great Western Ambulance provides a vital service that we hope we’ll never need but cannot do without when things go wrong. They receive no government funding, so I’m keen to do all I can to help.”

Those wishing to donate items for any of the stalls are welcomed to bring them on the day.
