Haydon Wick Parish Council are inviting people to come along to their coffee morning this September, to raise funds for cancer charity, Macmillan.
The coffee morning will take place at the Haydon Wick Parish Council Office on Friday 27 September between 10am to 12pm.
A spokesperson for the event said: “Cancer touches so many lives, often when we least expect it. But together, we can help by raising funds to support those facing this tough challenge.
"Join our Macmillan Coffee Morning and help us make a difference, one slice at a time. Every cake you buy, every coffee or tea you sip, makes a real difference."
Money raised from the coffee morning will funds nurses who provide comfort and care when it's needed most. Even the smallest contribution can make a big impact. Whether you buy a cupcake or a whole cake, you're helping Macmillan Cancer Support be there for people when they need it most.
