Metro Bank’s Swindon branch is collecting donations for Swindon Sisters Alliance as part of its Christmas Community Campaign.

Swindon Sisters Alliance aims to support the people of Swindon and the surrounding area who experience or have experienced domestic violence.

Swindon residents and businesses can donate some of the items the charity urgently needs including clothing all types of men's, ladies' and children's clothing, shoes, handbags, belts, jewellery, DVDs, CDs, vinyl, books of all kinds, collectables, toys, Teddy Bears, puzzles and board games.

Metro Bank Store Manager Daniel Wilkie said: “As a community bank our colleagues and customers want to support those most in need this Christmas through this fantastic local charity.

“We would encourage everyone to give a little this Christmas – even one tin can make a difference.  I want to thank everyone in advance for their generous support.”

All donations are welcome at Metro Bank’s Swindon branch at 1-4 Regent Street, Swindon, SN1 1JQ.

It is open Monday to Saturday from 8.30am-6pm and on Sundays from11am-5pm. Swindon Metro Bank is also part of the Safe Space scheme – the store is available to anyone experiencing, or at risk of domestic abuse, providing the opportunity to safely call a helpline, support service or loved one.
