The Royal Wootton Bassett & District Rotary Club has donated the sum of £1,000 to Brighter Futures.

Through the charity fund raising events held by the Royal Wootton Bassett & District Rotary Club, £1,000 was donated to Great Western Hospital’s Brighter Futures.

This donation was made in order to help support Brighter Futures' Hickory Dickory Dock project.

The charity is aiming to raise £22,000 in order to replace all the clocks in the hospital with Dementia Clocks.

These clocks are said to be of great benefit to people suffering from this condition, as they display information such as letters, numbers, morning or afternoon status and also the current month.

All of this information is displayed on a highly visible face which will help to reduce confusion.

The Rotary Club's President Gillian Vaughan presented the cheque to Brighter Futures' Adam Wainwright. Also in attendance were President Elect Linda Locke and Secretary Nick Parker.
