Charity evening of drama and poetry in Highworth

The proceeds of the night of culture at St Michael's Church will go to Swindon Samaritans.

Saturday 21 August will see the troupe 'Four Phenomenal Women' present 'A Lighthearted Evening of Drama and Poetry.'

Tickets for the show are £10 and can be purchased from Highworth's Lighthouse Bookshop. This ticket price includes a drink.

The event starts at 7:30pm. 

Swindon and District Samaritans offer people the time and space to talk through whatever is troubling them and aims to help people to explore their feelings to alleviate distress. The charirty organisation says it's support staff do not give advice but listen with undivided attention and with empathy, to help people to find their own way forward. When people are in crisis, Samaritans says it may help to make someone feel calmer and more able to get through that moment.
