Swindon Carers Centre is delighted to be the recipient of a generous donation of £1000 from Gooch Lodge.

The funds will enable Swindon Carers Centre to give more carers of all ages the support and recognition they need and fund vital resources and activities to give them a break from their caring roles.

Paul Moffat, Charity Steward of Gooch Lodge, says: “I trust you can put this donation to good use. I look forward to meeting up when it’s safe to do so and the lockdown rules are relaxed, to hear more about the fantastic work you do for the local community”.

Fiona Prinzi, Deputy CEO of Swindon Carers Centre, says: “We are so grateful to everyone at Gooch Lodge for thinking of unpaid carers, particularly at this challenging time. Unpaid carers are hidden families who are looking after the health and wellbeing of their loved ones at home, so this kind donation will help us to take care of them when they need it most.”
