The Swindon Trauma Group 12th Annual Conference will take place from 9am to 5.15pm on Friday 6 October.
The conference will take place at the Hawksworth Suite at Doubletree by Hilton Hotel, just off junction 16 of the M4, with the dress code - casual but smart.
Tickets cost £55 per delegate or £30 for a Swindon Trauma Group member.
The theme of the event will be “The question remains is there treatment and support for the Invisible Injuries PTS/PTSD'.

9.50am to 10am - Introductions for the day and administration Richard Hilling ARRC Chairman Swindon Trauma Group
10am to 10.15am - Welcome to today’s Conference by video call Sir Robert Buckland KCB QC MP for South Swindon
10.15am to 11.15am - Psychological support for the Ukrainian Population Dr Justin Havens Fda BA BEng MSc PhD MBACP (accred). Awarded PhD by Anglia Ruskin University Veterans and Families Institute which was about a brief and powerful self -help intervention to resolve nightmares
11.15 am to 11.30am Break- Tea or Coffee
11.30am to 12.30pm - Charity Diverse Leap and Community and based Mental Health and Wellbeing, also the charities link with the NHS prescriber for the Armed Forces in Gloucestershire. Diverse Leap offers mental health support for a variety of mental health issues
12.30pm to 1.30pm - 14Twelve Restaurant - two Course Hot and Cold buffet with refreshments
1.30pm to: 1.45pm - Introductions for the afternoon Richard Hilling
1.45pm to 2.30pm - A Modern Approach for Natural Living. Redefining health and fitness and looking at all things that make us a healthy human being- natural living in an unnatural world Chris Martin BSc (Hons), MSc
2.30pm to 3pm - Falklands the Realities of War Mark ‘Splash’ Aston author of the Sunday Times best seller SAS Sea King Down. The extraordinary true story of the SAS at war in the Falklands
3pm to 3.30pm - Doubletree cookies with tea or coffee
3.30pm to 4.30pm - Continuing with Mark’s presentation
4.30pm to 5pm - Questions from the floor
5pm to 5.15pm - Summary and reflections of the day with a little light music to end the conference.

Proceeds from the conference, after expenses, will go to the Swindon Trauma Group plus a donation to Combat Stress.
Also there will be two draws to raise money for the group and Combat Stress. Each draw includes a prize of afternoon tea with tea or coffee for two at the Swindon Hilton. Price per ticket for each draw £2.50.
