The Annual General Meeting of Voluntary Action Swindon will be held on Wednesday 11 October.
The venue is the conference room at Sanford House in the town centre, with registration open from 1.30pm and refreshments available.
Voluntary Action Swindon that helps other charities by enabling and developing the local voluntary and community sector through advice and training.
It runs campaigns and events, supporting networks and representing sector views to policymakers.
The AGM will include updates on the organisation's work over the past 12 months, with opportunities to ask the team questions about the work they’ve completed. The 2022/23 accounts will be presented, and updates on plane for the next 12 months will be provided.
VAS chair Bob Barrett notes in his annual report: "Well, that was a quick but incredibly busy year! We were very proud to celebrate VAS’ 90th birthday this year and all it has achieved since its launch in 1932.
"From its humble beginnings helping to strengthen the Swindon community and in 1972 following significant job cuts at the then Great Western Railway works, to all the vital services we deliver today to continue to support and strengthen the Swindon community and particularly the vibrant and varied Swindon Voluntary sector which Swindon is so lucky to have."
The chair also highlights a significant increase in demand for the organisation's services.
