Mental health charity's winter fayre

Root & Branch will be holding their winter fayre on Sunday, 1 December, from 2.00-3.30pm.

The winter fayre looks set to be a fantastic event, with beautiful handmade rural crafts, gifts and decorations available to purchase.

There will be live music, wreath making and wood turning demonstrations, alongside refreshments including mince pies and homemade cakes.

Root & Branch is an independant charity, located in the Vale of the White Horse, that provides activities promoting recovery for people who experience significant mental health difficulties. 

Root and Branch would love to run a small raffle at the winter fayre this year, and any donations of quality prizes would be appreciated.

They are also making Christmas wreaths that are available to be pre-ordered now. There are two sizes on offer: Large (£30) and Medium (£25), all crafted by their skilled florists. Email your order to [email protected] Wreath orders close on 22nd November.

The charity's support of adults with significant and enduring mental health challenges, is currently in great demand as more adults in the community need their therapeutic service.

A spokesperson said: “We are currently in a climate where charitable funds are becoming increasingly difficult to obtain. Can you help us by supporting our Christmas Campaign?

“Whether you wish to make a donation in lieu of Christmas cards or gifts being sent, funds raised from a work Christmas raffle, or simply to make a difference to the lives of participants who seek support, your Christmas gift to Root & Branch would be most gratefully received.”
