Man charged with attempted murder following Rodbourne hit and run

Following a hit and run in Rodbourne Road, Swindon a further two men have been arrested in relation to this incident.

On Friday (20/03) evening, Benjamin Danso-Obeng (28) from Handel Street, Gorse Hill, Swindon was arrested and then yesterday (21/03) charged with attempted murder. 



He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Swindon Magistrates Court tomorrow (24/03). 



Also on Friday, we arrested a 26-year-old man from Enfield, London in relation to this incident; he has now been released on conditional bail. 



The incident happened at approximately 3.30pm on Friday March 6 outside The Dolphin pub in Rodbourne. 



As a result of the incident, a 26-year-old man was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol where he remains in a critical condition.
