Bradon Forest School in Purton has helped Greenmeadow Primary School, one of its feeder schools, with a donation of a number of books for their new lending library.
Mrs Styles, Bradon Forest’s librarian, has been using this quieter period in school to have a thorough stocktake.
She said: “We are very lucky at Bradon Forest to have received a large number of books from families and staff as their children have grown up over the years that I have been working here.
"We had such a large collection of books it was becoming difficult for the students to find what they were looking for. I have used this lockdown period to have a comprehensive review of all the books we have in the library.”
Mrs Styles was alerted to the plea from Greenmeadow for books for their new lending library by another member of Bradon Forest staff.
Mrs Mackinnon and Mrs McDonald, the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher, from Greenmeadow visited Bradon Forest's library and selected books that would be suitable for primary age children.
