The Croft Primary School in Swindon has had much to celebrate recently, having won three separate football trophies.

The football team, which mainly includes Year 6 pupils with some Year 5s as well, won the Swindon Primary Schools Football Association’s South League in May, remaining undefeated throughout the course of the season.
Having won the South League, The Croft, which is part of The White Horse Federation, also won the Swindon Cup.
Finally, they were invited to play in the Centenary Cup which is for all league winners. The team also won this local Champions’ League, having competed against Moredon, Tregoze, Tadpole Farm and Grange.
Elaine Murphy, Headteacher at The Croft Primary School, said: “We are really proud of our football team and it’s brilliant to be able to celebrate their success.
":It’s the first time in our history and the history of the Swindon Primary School Football League that this has happened, so it really is an amazing achievement for the children involved."
“Well done to all of those competing. The teamwork shown is so important for all children as they develop their confidence and learn to work together while also having fun!”
