The headteacher of Lawn Manor Academy has praised the resilience of her Year 11 students on GCSE results day.
Sandra Muir, Headteacher Lawn Manor Academy, said: “We are delighted that the hard work and effort of our pupils has been rewarded with the GCSE results that we are releasing this morning.
"This is a cohort that are still feeling the challenges of the pandemic and the impact that it has inevitably had on their education.
"Our Year 11 have been resilient and have been given immense support from their skilled teachers to ensure that they caught up their learning.
"Hard work and dedication have certainly been rewarded with many pupils picking up excellent results this morning which will set them on their next pathway in education.”
