Hundreds of New College Swindon students gathered this morning at the Queens Drive campus to learn the results of their efforts.
The college reported a swathe of increases in top grades, with 11 percent of A-Level students securing A and A* marks and 30 percent securing B to A*.
In vocational courses had an overall pass rate of 92 percent for Level 3, and in T-Levels 92 percent of learners passed their programmes - an improvement on last year's 86 percent and 2024's 59 percent - and 15 percent achieved the highest possible grade.
Successful apprenticeships also grew, and exceeded the national target.
Among the many successful students was Dextra Rebelo, whose Distinction in Level 3 Sport and Physical Activity has earned her a place at the University of Lancashire to study Sports Therapy.
She said of her New College Swindon experience: "It's been amazing. I was a bit nervous when I first came because I didn't really know anybody, but the students and teachers were always amazing."
Dextra's eventual aim is to work with a sports club and eventually to have her own private sports therapy practice.
Her course has seen her work with organisations including GWH, Swindon Wildcats and Kube Medical.
College Principal and CEO Leah Palmer said: "I'm absolutely proud of all our learners and their achievements.
"I'm very proud of our A-Level students who are going to Oxbridge to study Medicine and Dentistry, but I'm equally proud of our learners whose individual achievements are massive for them.
"What's important is that we do not understate all the hard work, stress and dedication that today is the culmination of.
"Some of our learners celebrating today have been with us two or three years, so it's the culmination of hard work and dedication over that period of time."
Assistant Principal Ellie Exley said the college placed great emphasis on ensuring students achieved everything they were capable of.
"We've been really focused on driving learners' goals and building their expectations with them," she added, "pushing their high grades, pushing our staff to get the learners to really achieve those high grades."
