Prime Theatre asks for primary school assistants

A select group of young people will be given the chance to work alongside teaching staff at Swindon's Drove Primary School.

Prime Theatre are recruiting four new jobs through the Government's Kickstart scheme and have extended the deadline to Monday 9 August, by 9am to give more young people the chance to apply.

Primary School Creative Assistant roles are open to applications from anyone aged 16-24 who receives universal credit.

The successful candidates will work as part of a small arts team based with Prime at Drove Primary School, Swindon.

The position involves supporting teachers in planning and delivering arts activities to pupils from 21 Sept to 22 April.

Prime Theatre says it aims to have all Kickstart trainees receive training and support to improve prospects of future employment.

The theatre company recommends anyone interested in these roles registers with a job centre and asks a work coach for further information and a referral.
