Red Oaks Primary School pupils and staff are celebrating the school maintaining its Good rating after a recent Ofsted inspection.
The Swindon primary school continues to be recognised for its commitment to excellence and is a consistently trusted choice for families with the inspector noting that “...pupils are excelling in all aspects of their education” and praising the school's “...coherent and well-sequenced curriculum”.
The inspectors found no areas which required improvement, and the report said the school might be rated Outstanding if their visit had been a graded inspection.
Headteacher Emily Maxfield said: ”The whole school is thrilled to see all the hard work being praised and recognised by Ofsted.
"They have seen what we are lucky enough to see every day, and I am so proud of our staff and pupils for all their achievements.
"I am very pleased that the report highlighted both our broad and ambitious curriculum and our safe and inclusive environment because they are essential to ensuring every pupil can thrive and reach their full potential."
The school is described as “...an inclusive, welcoming place to learn” in the Ofsted report which found that: “The school’s values, ‘aspire, achieve, grow’, are a fundamental part of the school day for every pupil.”
Staff are praised for creating a warm and supportive environment with pupils described as “...articulate learners who are thoughtful and kind to one another” who “...behave exceptionally well, both in and outside the classroom. Consequently, the school is a purposeful and calm place to learn.”
The inspection report highlighted the benefits of Red Oaks being part of The Park Academies Trust: “The academy board and the trust provide a highly effective oversight of the school’s work.
"They share the school’s aspirational culture. All staff are proud to work at the school. They agree that leaders, including the trust and academy board, support their well-being and workload.”
James Nicholson, Interim CEO, The Park Academies Trust said: "Everyone at the Trust is delighted to see the dedicated team of staff at Red Oaks continuing to ensure excellent standards across all the areas inspected by Ofsted.
"I know parents and carers will be pleased to see that endorsement of the brilliant education their children receive at Red Oaks and we are very proud of the important role our schools play in the community."
