Students and Staff at Royal Wootton Bassett Academy celebrated the end of two challenging years with students picking up their GCSE results on Thursday.
Students Aidan Grainger, Jack Broome and Eloise Foster were ecstatic after having received 9s, with all three commenting on how proud they were of their results and grateful to have such supportive teachers.
Serena, a student who joined in Year 9 after moving from Hong Kong, said: “I love the school so much and I am really happy with my results.”
Anita Ellis, Headteacher said: “We are extremely proud of the student’s hard work and dedication and that so many students have received the results that they deserve.
"It is always an extremely challenging time of year for students, parents and staff and so it is superb to see so many happy faces when opening their results sheets.
"I wish them all the best of luck in their future endeavours, whether that be an apprenticeship, Sixth Form, College, or the start of their first job and we are excited to welcome back our students to Sixth Form in September."
