Parents of secondary school-age children are being reminded of a crucial deadline by Swindon Borough Council.
Monday, 31 October is the closing date for parents and guardians of children born between 1 September 2011 and 31 August 2012 to apply for places at their chosen schools.
People can make applications after this date, but they will be officially classified as late applications, which are not considered until all on-time applications have been considered and allocated.
Offers of secondary school places will be issued on 1 March, and 15 March will be the deadline day for accepting an offer.
The deadline to submit a change of address for consideration is 10 January.
