Year 13 students at UTC Swindon are celebrating after receiving their A Level and vocational qualification results.
Students collected their results alongside friends, family and staff, reflecting on hard work, determination and personal growth.
The day was filled with celebration as students secured places on university courses, apprenticeship programmes and other post-18 pathways.
UTC Swindon is a STEM school and sixth form that specialises in engineering, digital and cyber security, and this year’s exam outcomes reflect the hard work, technical talent and ambition of its students.
This year’s cohort achieved:
- 100% pass rate in BTEC Level 3 Esports with 80% of all grades a Distinction
- 100% pass rate in Level 3 Cyber Security
- 100% pass rate with all grades merit and above for Level 3 BTEC Extended diploma in Engineering.
There was a happy atmosphere around the sixth form as students celebrated their achievements and looked ahead to the future.
Staff were on hand to share in their success and provide support to those finalising their plans for September.
Headteacher Hollie Taylor said: "Today is a day to celebrate the achievements of our students and recognise the hard work, resilience and ambition they have shown throughout their studies.
"We are incredibly proud of everything this cohort has accomplished. Whether they are progressing to university, higher apprenticeships, employment or other exciting opportunities, they leave us with the knowledge, skills and confidence to succeed in the next stage of their journey.
"We wish them every success in the future and look forward to hearing about all they go on to achieve." ?
