Disciples of rhythm and rhyme gathered at Old Town's Garden Bowl for the Reggae Garden Festival last Saturday.
The family festival defied the British weather and provided festival goers with a extensive line-up of music from across the world, an abundance of soul food and incredible works of art from some of the UK's most renowned graffiti artists.
For the festival's seventh run Old Town was invaded by a host of incredible reggae artists which included Twinkle Brothers, Raphael, Lion Art, Talisman, Friendly Fire Band and many more.
Children were of course more than welcome and enjoyed a selection of great activities from a bouncy castle and Reggae Rangers, to face painting and hair braiding.
Flavours of the Caribbean were not in short supply either, as Swindon's Moshen chefs cooked up a storm of authentic Caribbean cuisine throughout the day.
The event, quite simply, is always a huge success with a fantastic turnout. Reggae culture, positive vibes and live performances brought Swindon out in the rain without a glum, or dry, face in sight.
